Beretta Optima HP (A-400) Super Steel Choke tubes have been BEEFED up with Carpenter 455 stainless steel, adding more strength to this choke to withstand steel shot and other heavy tungsten shot shells ammunition.

Due to the thin wall design of the Optima HP choke system, a tougher material than the 17-4 stainless steel used in Carlson's other tubes, was required.  By using the new Carpenter 455 material this choke can now be used with Steel, Hevi Shot, and other tungsten shot shells without worrying about the choke tube swelling and sticking in the shotgun’s barrel.

These choke tubes work with all lead shot shells, also.

This choke tube has been specially designed to produce the best patterns when shooting Winchester’s Long Beard Turkey loads.  This ammunition features Shot-Lok Technology that allows for the tightest patterns and longer downrange reach over any lead turkey load on the market.  Pair this ammunition’s capabilities with the new Carlson’s Long Beard Turkey Choke and you have a devastating, gobbler-killing combination.

Manufactured from 304 high stress stainless steel. Each choke tube protrudes .625 to 1.3 inches from the end of the barrel depending upon which type of firearm the choke tube has been specifically designed for.  Each choke tube has a right hand rifle twist, which is 1 to 35. Each choke tube has a groove diameter of .730 of an inch in 12 ga.
